  1. I think the new cases for the day should have been 1,030. The number 760 is also posted on other websites that get the daily tally from John Hopkins University. The previous day total count was 11,933 and today’s total is 12,963. It is not the dear editors mistake but it is reported/posted everywhere as such. 12,963-11,933=1,030. Something is wrong. In any case, it is now becoming a concern. Let’s pray it will not duplicate South Africa. What is going on over there in South Africa? It is now the 5th country in the highest number of cases with hundreds dying daily and closing in on half a million cases. It has one of the best health care systems in the world but it is being clobbered by the pandemic. I am now on a verge of panic mode for the old country.

  2. Dear Editors,

I will take it back. I just checked today’s number and it is 12,693 instead of 12,963. Fat fingers did it on this side of the isle. Please disregard my previous comment regarding the numbers.
