The daily count of new cases has stayed in the low 100 two days in a row. The number of patients that need intensive care went down a whopping 80. The recovery rate is marching on to the 100% victory lane!!! All this is done with less than 2 million doses of vaccine in the country of close 120 million citizens. This shows one glaring fact. The ingenuity of our women. I make it no secret about my wishes. I have said this on many occasions before and am gonna say it again. I want to see our women to take over governing that country from top to the lowest level of governance. We men have monopolized political power for too long that we have stopped listening to reason. We start wars for this and that stupid reasons sending young people to their demise. There is no shame in our values when we steal from hungry citizens. We kill whenever we feel like it. I like to see men driven out of political offices peaceful and be told to stay out for the next 100 years. Let our women show us how government affairs ought to be conducted. Out for at least a century!!!
Now I am calling upon PM Abiy to bestow that nation’s highest honor to our daughter/sister H.E. Dr. Lia bint Tadesse and her very capable team for this grand achievement in controlling the deadly pandemic. This is not a request but a demand and must be handed out by the next Ethiopian New Year at the least. Otherwise I am gonna be all over your case like a cheap 3-piece suit!!! This is a war like no other that she won. If you don’t I’m gonna start calling you a male chauvinist! Do it pronto!!!
Me? The party is officially on at my crib!!! Take a bow Lia!!! All glory to you and your capable team!!!
Make that: … must be handed out by the next Ethiopian New Year at the latest.
