What is becoming more and more worrisome lately is the percentage of those tested positive among the total daily tests. It has been in double digits between 11-13% with today’s being 13%. The new variant which is wreaking havoc around the globe is definitely doing the same in that country. What more alarming to me is the situation here in the USA. It is out of control where in many towns hospitals are running out of hospital beds. Deaths from the scourge are surging. Dear countrymen and Women! Please do not let your guard down. This demon is not going anywhere. Fall season, the beginning of the flu season is at our doorstep. I don’t expect any magic wand from CDC or health official with which they can slow it down. If these daily infections stay at the current level(with 7-day average around 115,000) you may have to double or even triple that during the fall and winter season. It is very easy to ward off any possible exposure and being infected from it. Wear masks, keep the proper distance from the other guy and wash/sanitize your hands.
