The pandemic is raging everywhere again with impunity. Here in USA there were more than 143,000 new cases in just the last 24 hours. Last time it was this high was on January 30, 2021, 8 months ago. Mind you it is in the middle of summer. If it is not contained to a manageable level now just imagine how it is gonna look like during the coming fall and winter seasons. Europe is carnage there. Even in Israel, the country touted to have one of the most fully vaccinated populations in the world the scourge is spreading like a raging fire with possible brand new variants. Israel is now back on level 4 US DO NOT TRAVEL LIST and Ethiopia is not. Not yet at least for now. Here in the USA in those states where most members of our Diaspora live, the numbers are very concerning. The pandemic is raging in California, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, Washington, Florida, Tennessee and even in Oregon. I am back nagging you my beloved countrymen/women to not let your guard down. It is scientifically proven that face masks protect you from inhaling the deadly virus floating around you in crowded places like grocery stores, indoor dinning joints etc… May The Almighty Our Creator protect you all where ever you are!!!!
