Coronavirus confirmed cases has surpassed 5000 in Ethiopia after 186 people tested positive for COVID 19 over the past twenty-four hours, according update from the Ministry of Health. The number includes active and inactive cases. So far, Ethiopia has tested 227, 335 suspected people who either arrived in the country from abroad or those who were believed to be exposed to an infected persons. The recovery rate over there is still going up closing on 30%. But the carnage is here in our own hood. There were close to 40,000 new confirmed cases here in the USA alone in one day today, about 38,386 to be exact. It seems USA and Brazil are in battle for the record in a single day. The tabulators are witnessing more and more of the younger generations are making the trips to hospitals with serious symptoms. That was what happened in 1918. I am losing my mind worrying for our community because I don’t think most of us have the luxury of maintaining the proper social distancing at our domiciles. O Good Lord!!! Please Have Mercy On Us!!!
