There is one silver lining in light of this increasing case of infections in the old country. The recovery rate has been nowhere but going up reaching past 55% today. This rate was in the 20’s not too long ago. All honor to the over qualified our daughter/sister H.E. Dr. Lia bint Tadesse and the very capable team she assembled for tackling this deadly surge!!! It has been almost a year since the commies in Beijing let this deadly virus loose on the world and every advanced nation with all its advanced healthcare system has total confirmed cases in hundreds of thousands and in many of them have surpassed the million thresholds. Their recovery rates have been sinking lately. But this patriot has not let the pandemic run amok in her country even though those demonic bigots had thrown monkey wrench in her blessed effort. Back in August I projected the total confirmed cases to reach between 150-200 thousand by the end of this year. I may have to scale down that number if the new cases do not start surging into thousands daily. It is my conviction that it will not be the case. We will see how the flu season that just started in the West is going to affect that region. The 7-day average has been going down since the middle October and that is very encouraging. But the numbers here in Good Ole USA is very alarming. New cases are going up and the recovery rate is going in the wrong direction losing a whole percentage in just a few days. So dear countrymen/women! Please remain apprehensive about the pandemic and follow the mitigating protocol the health experts have instructed us to follow. Please make sure to wear face masks, wash your hands and observe social distancing as explained in the protocol. And make sure you cast your vote.
