Ethiopia did not deny or confirm it

Toronto – Thousands of Somaliland soldiers have entered Ethiopia on Thursday, BBC Amharic reported it citing government news outlets in Somaliland.
The soldiers have reportedly arrived in Ethiopia for a military training but it is unspecified how long the training will be. The state television has reportedly shown video footage of the soldiers as they start traveling to Ethiopia.
“Somaliland Defense Chief of Staff Major General Nuh Ismail sent off trainees [going to Ethiopia]” BBC Amharic quoted state owned Somaliland Television as saying.
The Ethiopian government has not confirmed or denied, at this writing, as has been the case in the past few months. Last month, the Office of The Prime Minister issued an advisory urging caution when consuming news content about the MoU with Somaliland.
Ethiopia and Somaliland have reached a defense agreement just a week after the signing of the Memorandum of understanding in January 2024.
Major General Nuh Ismail visited Ethiopia in January 2024 and held discussion with Defense Chief of Staff Field Marshal Berhanu Jula. No details were released about their meeting other than the information that “military cooperation” was discussed, which borkena reported at the time.
News of the arrival of Somaliland troops in Ethiopia came at a time when the president of Somalia wrapped up a two days working visit to Eritrea where he discussed strengthening cooperation. Eritrea has been training thousands of Somali soldiers. During his latest trip, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with his country’s defense members in Eritrea who are currently getting air force training.
Relations between Ethiopia and Somalia severed after Ethiopia signed a MoU agreement with Somaliland on January 1, 2024. Somalia claims that its sovereignty was violated when the MoU was signed, and had been on a campaign to garner political and military support against Ethiopia.
Somaliland – which has been existing as a de facto state for well over three decades – rejected Somalia’s position including an order to close the Ethiopian consulate in Hargeisa.
Turkey has initiated a dialogue between the two countries despite Hassan Sheikh Mohamud vowing that there would be no room for dialogue before Ethiopia revokes the MoU it signed. On July 1, Ethiopia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Taye Aske Selassie, and his counterpart in Somalia, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, met in Ankara, and they are scheduled to meet again in September this year.

Okay, all of you bigots and confused PhD. philosophers!
Silence! I’m singing from the top of my lung the old time Somali spiritual!
Harimade Ana Haban; Ana Haban; Galada Same Nagaadhsi!!!
Harimade Ana Haban; Ana Haban; Galada Same Nagaadhsi!!!
Harimade Ana Haban; Ana Haban; Galada Same Nagaadhsi!!!
Harimade Ana Haban; Ana Haban; Galada Same Nagaadhsi!!!
That is followed by that Ella and Whitney clone of Somaliland Maryan Mursal taking all of us home with her rendition of Somaliland. I just can’t help singing it. I can’t get it out of my head!!! Don’t blame me. Al-Waziir Mohammed Farah Mohammed pushed the play button and left. Harimade Ana Haban; Ana Haban; Galada Same Nagaadhsi!!!…Help!!!
So all of you bigots and confused PhD philosophers! I’m sure this will do it for you. So jump in a lake and never even think about coming up!!!!
Obo Ittu
Is that all you say about Abiy’s blantant. warm mongering and drum beats with neighbors and trying to inflame even further of Somalia’s internal conflict? Or this little an emotional outburst for the successes and strides made by the Oromumma mantra and its ingenious and destructive political and civil war platforms? Not also that the Somali relic singer Maryan Mursal is not from the so-called Somalil land of the nothern regions of Somalis and she opposes to the secessionist idea and never made a song for it. She is from the central regions of Somalia and she is unflinching unionist . Lastly , The Somali traditional war dance and play of the WilWILA ( there is cllose versions played by Oromos see singer like Khadija Hajii songs , who also plays fantastic shegoye oromo songs) and others like Afar people . But I don’t get its relevance here except druming for war and violence. WILWILA dance is something similar to amharic versions of Shilela or ሺሌላ songs and dances. But what most amusing is you choose and put an incorrect Somali word in the mix. For example there is no where the word of GAALA is found in the WILWILA dance. Let me correct little bit bro. It starts with something like
HELEE LEEYOOY HELEE LEEYOOY
HARI MAANTEE HANA HAABAN
HANA HAABAN HANA HAABAN
NMAAN HELAA MA HAMBAYNA
….
That is the basic theme of the starting point and repeation of the dance. The good or bad thing about is anyone can change the words and can make fiill ups of own with different words in the rest of the song damce that can range from threats of war to cenfebetory mood of wedding and other sociall festivies. I believe the word that you choose and put there is your own thing and fill ups for some reasons but why?.
