Yes it is true that the daily confirmed new cases have been on an uptick for the last 3 days. But one the other hand she has upped the ante on the number of daily tests since the news of the new strain both in Europe and South Africa. The number of people being tested for the virus has gone up by a whopping 60% since just 3 days before Xmas. I ain’t scared. Not yet. The number of patients that need intensive care has gone up by a scant 11 from yesterday’s count with 236 but there were 670 more people just in the last 24 hours who recovered completely which brought the recovery rate closing in the 90% mark at 88.5% today.
About two weeks ago I posted a comment on another website expressing my pleasure about the uptick of the recovery rate. Then one of those habitual bigots shot back at me with a comment admonishing me for it. I was told off by the hate monger that he/she has seen reports of people in the rural areas being pummeled by deadly respiratory disease and dying. Whenever I hear such doomsday news by bigots I always do my own investigation. So I asked my merchant relatives if they have noticed such carnage in the countryside they all told me that they did not come across such a situation. Yes they had noticed or were told of people coming down with such disease but there not common at all. The only problem they have been facing was the lack of peace caused by none other than these ‘carved out republic’ dreaming bigots who will burn in hell!!!!!
