With 11 days to go until January 1, 2021, based on the current moving average for the last 7 days(455) there will most likely be 5,005 more new cases added to the tally. So by the end of this year the total number of confirmed cases will be around 125 thousand. Back in August I predicted this number to be close 200,000 based on the 7-day average and the number of days left until the end of the year. I am very happy to see my prediction overstated. Let’s hope and pray that the virus will not mutate into a new version like it is doing in the UK. Let’s also hope that the vaccines approved both in Europe and USA will be somehow available at least to the most vulnerable by the beginning of the coming year. Then I am gonna demand the nation’s highest honor bestowed upon the over qualified warrior H.E. Dr. Lia bint Tadesse and her very capable team. No ifs or buts about it!!!
