The number of Coronavirus active cases in Ethiopia has reached 12,670 after 1,021 new recovery cases were reported in the past twenty-four hours. New confirmed cases for the same period is 410, according to a report from the Ministry of Health.

There is one number that has been worrisome to me lately. The number of serious cases has been showing an uptick lately. On Wednesday it was 236 but today Thursday it has jumped to 253. I will be watching this number closely for the next days. Many patients in serious cases have not survived anywhere. I hope and pray this is just temporary.
