So far so good. This is what should be called ‘under control’. Our over qualified daughter/sister H.E. Dr. Lia bint Tadesse and her very capable team have the pandemic leashed. The recovery rate is going thru the roof. It has shattered the 60% ceiling and is now at 62%. That is at par with countries like Germany and even way more than many Western countries with advanced healthcare systems in place. All glory to her and the team she has assembled for such blessed mission. I had predicted back in August the total confirmed case to reach between 150-200 thousand by the end of this year or beginning of 2021. I am itching to scale that target down to 125-130 thousand. By then either the vaccine will be available or the majority of citizens will have developed natural immunity from the pandemic. Insha’Allah!!!!
