TORONTO, Canada — In a recent evaluative meeting, Ethiopian Defense Force reported that Gondar Fano is weakened.
Colonel Abera Ayanaw, one of the key Fano figures in Gondar, dismisses the claim. He said that the Gondar Fano has united and has been recently inflicting serious damage on the defense force.
Furthermore, he said that new fano forces have completed training and there are towns that his forces are controlling in Gondar. He was a member of the Ethiopian Defense Force before deserting to Fano forces.
