Toronto – It has been months now since the Ethiopian government has been attempting to retake the corridor to Sudan.
Several intense fighting has been going on between the Fano forces and the Ethiopian Defense Forces.
Forces indicate that the area is still under Fano forces. Aschalew Alebachew, Quara area coordinator of Amhara Fano in Gondar, told EMS “to capture the corridor [for the government forces] is unthinkable.”
