  1. I am sure many of you have heard about the news victim among notable people. The pandemic has killed General Colin Powell. May he rest in eternal peace!
Meanwhile, General Colin Powell’s death from COVID-19 pandemic should be a wakeup call to those of us who may naively think the scourge is over or feel fully protected by the vaccines. The deadly virus has no bounds and does not care who you are. Now they are talking about the emergence of a new variant Delta-Plus. It is not over yet. It is proven beyond the shadow of doubt that the Delta variant is much easier than the original to spread and the newest variant has the potential to be even more easier to infect people and also deadlier. We should all keep one fact about all vaccines in mind at all times. None of have been 100 effective in protecting us from infections. You name any vaccine. They range from 30% to 90%. The good news is even that 30% efficacy can protect millions of us. So my dear countrymen/women! Please do not let your guard down. You young men among us: you think you are so tough. But that will be futile with this virus. Wear your masks in crowded indoors and maintain safe distance between yourself and the other guy. Wash/sanitize your hands often. Is that so hard? May The Almighty Our Creator Save Us All!!! Insha’Allah!!!
