It seems and is being reported that citizens there especially in bigger towns are having a fatigue syndrome. They feel utterly tired of following the mitigating regimen which is the main reason for a slight uptick that also led to a slight slide in the recovery rate. My concern is the new variant which is wreaking havoc in South Africa. It will somehow find its way into the old country. Vaccines will remain farfetched since they are so even for the richest countries. My other worry is the urgency/desperation that will arise from the scarcity or even the absence of effective/tested/approved vaccines which put the government under immense pressure and grab one of those bootlegged in commies China, India and Russia. That for sure will produce another medical crisis.
But my other concern is for my countrymen/women here in the USA. My wife and I holed up in our home for quite some time now. We are blessed with our two grown up children with one living not too far from us. We also live far from big cities in a small village with less than a thousand residents where we know each other. We haven’t hugged our grandchildren for quite some time now. But most of our Diaspora lives in big cities like LA, New York, Chicago, Dallas and other metropolitan areas where the pandemic is running wild. We see news on TV where some ICU’s turning away patients with emergency needs due to lack of space. It is going to get worse before it is getting better all to the irresponsible behavior of some reckless citizens. This is what you get when you mix deadly pandemic with politics. I am worried for my countrymen/women who still have a lot ahead of them. My wife and I are blessed to live such a blessed life and are in the sunset of our long journey on this good earth. May The Almighty Our Creator Protect You All From This Deadly Specter.
