Toronto – Warkaw Mere Wodajo , one of the key leaders of Wollo Fano, called for his forces to respect the dignity of captured government soldiers.
In a message aired via Anchor Media, he urged his forces to treat captured government soldiers in a way that is observant of the international norms.
He also highlighted that there are many wounded government soldiers in the hands of Fano and appeared for the ICRC to support them.
Over the past two days, his forces reported that they have killed over 470 government soldiers and wounded 280 others.
