Toronto – Trump is announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel after Iranian forces targeted U.S. military bases in Qatar and Bahrain.
He stated that both Iran and Israel have “fully agreed” for a “total ceasefire.” He seems to have considered the relief that the news would bring to people in the two countries, in the region and beyond. The message he shared on Truth social in the past one hour or so starts with congratulatory notes and then shares details of the arrangement for the ceasefire.
It reads :
“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!

The announcement came just day after he signaled a regime change agenda in Iran
On Saturday the United States bombed three Iranian Nuclear development sites : Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. On the same day he announced about the strike he ordered, he wrote “…This is an HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD. IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR. THANK YOU!,”
However, Iran rather continued responding to Israel’s attack by targeting more locations in Israel. On Monday, Iran took even a bolder military step by targeting U.S. military bases in Qatar and Bahrain which promoted closure of their airspaces in the region ; specifically by Qatar and UAE whose national carriers run busy flight schedules in the region.
Iran and Israel have not remarked on Trump’s claims. However, there are reports that an Iranian authority has told CNN that Trump’s message constitutes a “deception.” Iran has not received a proposal regarding a ceasefire, RT reported. As well, Israel continues to strikes Iran after Trump’s announcement.
In a related development, Russia and Iran, a country that has been under sanctions for decades, had a consultation in Moscow on Monday. According to an RT report, Vladimir Putin described the U.S and Israel’s attack on Iran as “an unprovoked aggression,” and that “there can be no justification” for it.
At least 500 people have been killed on both sides and thousands wounded as a result of the war.
