Tigray region security warns about security problem as the two factions are heading in the direction of conflict

Toronto – The Tigray region forces this evening release a brief update regarding the conflicting statement by the two TPLF factions.
It said the statements from the two had caused disturbance among the people in the region. It said it will not allow security problems because of the two statements.
Earlier today, the Debretsion faction released a statement saying that the central committee has decided 13 members of the Interim government of Tigray to remove their power.
Tadesse Worede, who is himself a deputy president of the Interim administration, is one of the leaders of the Tigray region security forces, also known as “Tigray Defense Force.” It is said to constitute over 200,000 armed forces .
On the other hand, the Getachew Reda faction say the Debretsion faction mistook patience for weakness. This group considers the move by the other group as a coup. It was undertaking a public meeting last week with the theme “saving TPLF.”
Debretsion’s faction does not have a recognition from the Federal government.
