“I felt much healthier today and have worked really hard on my speed and all my training has paid off. I want to thank my opponents, many of whom are my friends, ” she added.

  1. Our golden daughter Tigist bint Assefa has brought another big shining gold. Her last dash to the finish line was so thrilling. She is gonna bring more and more gold bars in years to come. She is still 29 yrs old. Bless her heart.

How about the men’s side? Was it thrilling or what? That one almost threw me unconscious while watching the streaming. Our gallant son Yomif Kejelcha finished the race, his 1st marathon, below the 2hr mark. That by itself is a 20lb pure gold for. He is still 28yrs old and there is a lot of winning long distance running left in him. He is going to be a nightmare to his rivals. Look out Sawe!!!
