Taye Dendea’s Three Parts Interview

Toronto – It has been weeks now since Taye Dendea was arrested again – apparently with orders from the government.

Before his arrest he had an interview with different Ethiopian news outlets in which he made serious allegations against Abiy Ahmed.

The interview he had with Horn Conversation – which appears to be espousing ethnic Oromo nationalist political views – is longer. It is in the interview with this media that Taye made claims that Abiy Ahmed has “told him that he wants to eliminate Amhara.” Taye revealed the information with the view that what happens to him is unpredictable and that he does not want the “secret” to be buried with him.
