TORONTO, Canada – Ethiopian Defense Force has reportedly carried out a drone strike in South Gondar, Dera district, Amhara region of Ethiopia.
It was an elementary school in Sana Kebele ( the school itself is named after the kebele) that was targeted. The incident took place on Tuesday in the morning around 10:00 A.M. in the morning while classes were in session.
According to an Anchor Media report, many children and some students were wounded or killed. However, Fano forces reported that the number of casualties were not finalized from hospital sources.
