Toronto – As the defense force and government “media army” claim a major victory against Fano in the Gojjam area, a different picture emerges from the Fano narrative.
In an interview with Ethiopian media service, Fano Yohannes Alemayehu, Gojjam Fano spokesperson, says government forces suffered major defeat in Sekela where over 40 government soldiers were captured and more than 40 were killed.
Also, Fano forces claim to have seized over 30 million Ethiopian birr in addition to firearms they seized.
