It is reported that poet, playwright and translater Nebiyu Mekonnen passed away and he will be laid to rest in Nazret.
Below is his appearance with Arts TV on the occasion of Ethiopian New Year in September 2023. He mentioned that he returned from medical travel to India where he had a heart and kidney surgery.
