Toronto – The ruling prosperity party has been making recurring claims that it ended the status of “agar party” for organizations from regions like Afar, Benishangul, Gambella and Somali regions. Simeneh Bayferes noted that there was not such thing as “Agar People” and the reference was only for political parties.

Mussa Adem Oumer – Afar politician – who also served as chairman of Afar People’s Party – shares view on the notion of “Agar” party and other issues.
