IMF And World Bank: The Two Machineries Used To Destroy  125 Million People In Ethiopia

According to Oxford’s dictionary, the meaning of “organized crime” is criminal activities that are planned and controlled by powerful groups on a large scale. Is there a crime greater than destroying a nation of more than 125 million people by empowering power-manic, unfit-for-power, and ill-oriented individuals and groups? Are there powerful groups (organizations) bigger than  the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), which literally support and empower the dictator Abiy Ahmed Ali, who committed genocide by designing  wars that killed over two million people in only three to four years? Did these organizations think that people are not watching them? That people are not attentive to what they say and do? Never! We are watching, and we are noticing what you do.  Let us provide some evidence.

1. The World Bank (WB) continues to support the Ethiopian government in the year 2024 and is still helping, even though they know that he is building his palace while the people are suffering greatly. The priority of Abiy Ahmed Ali is clear. He acts like a king, and his legacy is his priority. Not the country’s safety, not the rule of law, nor the people’s well-being. At any time and at any moment, he changes his ideas and his allegiances. He is not there for a sustainable solution to the problems the country, the region, and the globe are facing. He is there for himself. He first aligned with Ethiopian nationalists to control power, and later he became completely aligned with his ethnic group’s extremists just to stay in power. The money coming into his pocket is used without accountability for his prior agendas. The WB knows that and empowers this unfit person to destroy a precious nation, a nation with a longer history than most of the powerful Western nations that control the WB.

2. IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva visited Addis Ababa, and she praised the authorities by saying there is “ strong progress in Ethiopia’s economic reforms.” Really, madam? In Ethiopia’s recent history, university teachers, medical doctors, and others have never felt as insecure in life as they do now. The rest of the population is starving daily. The government is only functioning in Addis Ababa, where around five million people reside. Otherwise, in the regions of Amhara, Tigray, and Oromia, the government has no meaningful control, and these areas are in turmoil, facing conflict after conflict that has cost over two million lives and caused extensive damage. Citizens in the country have never felt so let down by their government in recent decades, yet you come with positive affirmations about what the government is doing. Of course, they are sponsoring terrorism in the country; what else can they say? They have to encourage the butchers to do more. The world is ignoring a massacre in the country. Abiy Ahmed Ali is kissing Turkey’s leader’s ass to buy drones using IMF money so that he can kill as many people as possible in Amhara, Tigray, Oromia, and everywhere else. So, the question is, have these people lost their minds? They used to do things in a hidden way; now they are exposed in broad daylight.

The IMF and World Bank are two pieces of machinery used to destroy nations. They are organized criminal organizations; though, unlike other criminal organizations, they enjoy the aspect of legality. However, what they do is even worse than that of other criminal organizations. Africans should reject the IMF and World Bank as criminal organizations. Nations are being crippled by these organized criminal entities. If Trump or other leaders were to dismantle these organizations tomorrow, the world would be a better place. Africans should support President Trump in his efforts to address the World Bank and IMF. People are tired of seeing such criminal organizations sponsoring crimes against innocent people.
