I hope this author took the time to thank Emperor Haile Selassie for giving him all the opportunities to modern education from 1st grade all the way through universities inside and outside the country. Otherwise he could have ended up a typical shepherd in Gojjam and Gondar ravaged by lice and scabs.
I also want to know his opinion about his classmates of the 1960’s and 1970’s who targeted Shewan Amharas and Menzes like me in particular as No.1 enemies of the people. Everyone who was part of that including those who did not speak against it should shed tears of contrition. That was wrong. Many innocent Menze peasants like me were massacred in Harar, Arusi, Bale and Wellega provinces because of that satanic name calling and targeting. He might not have been part of the targeting but he must have heard and seen them screaming with slogans condemning innocent people. He should condemn that.
Menze should not have name like Tadesse Asfaw
