Toronto – As the ruling prosperity party continues to paint an image of a “weakened” fighting standing of Fano forces whom it refers to as “extremists,” the narrative from the rebels represents rather a military progress.
Abebe Mulatu,military spokesperson of the Amhara Fano National Movement (AFNM), says “We are transitioning from Guerrilla to conventional force status.” News of significant military gains in different parts of the Amhara region were also trickling in over the past few days.
