Fano forces accuse Ethiopian government forces of intensify offensive ahead of the 7th General Election

Toronto – The Fano forces (Amhara Fano National movement) released a safety alert in which they announced road closures across the Amhara region of Ethiopia.
It said the measure is effective starting this Friday. All forms of vehicles are facing the restriction except for ambulances and emergency services.
The statement also advised residents to restrict regular activities.
According to the statement, the closure was introduced following a massive new operation the Ethiopian Defense Force launched in all areas of the Amhara region.
It came days after the Fano forces ambushed and killed a military general in Wollega, Oromia region of Ethiopia. The government has not yet remarked on the killing of the general.
However, the Fano forces say Ethiopian Defense Forces’ new military operations across the region are informed by the move to create enabling conditions for the 7th General Election in the country which is scheduled to take place on June 1.
“Although the Prosperity regime knows the enabling condition for ‘election’ in a way that people participate in it is non-existent, it has launched an extensive offensive in some towns so as to trick the international community and some Ethiopians,” Fano said in its safety alert release.
The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) on Tuesday announced that there will not be an election in eight electoral districts in the region.
The Fano forces still claim a significant control of areas in the Amhara region of Ethiopia which could put them in a position at least to disrupt election related activities.
There have been criticisms – including from major opposition parties operating in Addis Ababa – that there are no enabling conditions in most parts of the country due to security related issues.
Most parts of Amhara and Oromia region are impacted by active conflicts between rebel groups and the Federal government.
In the Tigray region, the transitional government was removed by force when the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) took control of administrative offices in Mekelle, reinstated the regional council and named Debretsion regional president.
There are also other pocket areas in Benishangul and South Ethiopia where security is an issue.
Over 50 million voters are registered. 52,029 voting stations are organized, according to the Election Board.
The government has not remarked on the restrictions Fano forces introduced.

i). ALL 86 Ethiopian Ethnics elected their respective Ethnic Leaders in their respective Ethnic Zones →Amaras elected theirs just like all others! No opposition filed complaint! Abiy’s Party won! Abiy became PM!
ii). DE results should be respected by ALL CITIZENS! Insurrection against elected governments is DT. Abetting DT is DT, too! So, NO MERCY for DTs & their Abettors!
3). Mutualistic Co-Existence vs. Parasitic Co-Existence: Amaras have benefited the most from Ethiopia ever since the Feudal Monarchy Serfdom Era [FMSE]. Amaras have served as FMSE’s ተላላኪ አሽከር እና ጉዳይ አስፈፃሚ all over Ethiopia. They live(d) in towns & benefited from all 86 Ethnics [Jobs, Education, Health Care, etc.]. That’s how Amaras made most of the entrants/graduates of schools/universities all over Ethiopia and hold office jobs, too.
4). Usual ‘Amara Intelligentsia’ Empty Rhetoric: In 2019, over 15 million Amaras were living in Oromo Zone [OZ] alone → [ youtu.be/IXBVqbOe9uY?t=2320 ]. So, more Amaras live in OZ than in Amara Zone [AZ]. Isn’t it intriguing when more live in OZ?
Compare: I met no Oromo during many Gojjam-Gonder sojourns. I have never heard of Oromos inviting Amaras to OZ or preventing Amaras from leaving OZ. Go & See how Ethiopians are UNWELCOME in Gojjam-Gonder, but how Whites & Arabs are Idolized!
You don’t have any sense of the History of Ethiopia. What you call Oromia was not inhabited by Oromos in the 19th century. Adddis Ababa was a rural town at the beginning of DERG era. AA was a capital of both Shewa province and Ethiopia. So, the current mess is due to 1960s students movement which was not based on local condition but international ideological shift. SAD!

Had it been for what the Derg did to me, I should have set Ethiopia ablaze! Yet, I opted to avert my past from becoming this Ethiopian generation’s future! So, I am only here to keep the posters honest!
I don’t believe that the other 85 Ethiopian Ethnics fell from the sky or invaded Ethiopia from somewhere else [after Haile-Selassie’s Monarchy’s demise]. Years ago, an Ato Shewarega [on nazret.com] told us that his Oromo grand father owned the land the Menelik Palace, Haile-Selassie’s Palace & Sheraton stand today [ፍል ውኃ / ፊን-ፊኔ] . He was credible & used to cite facts!
I also know a bit about Addis & Ethiopia myself: I am from Addis & some of my grand parents & great grand parents fell defending Ethiopia! I was also Derg’s Child Prisoner whom they used to shuttle from various prisoners to Menelik Palace [ደርግ ምርማራ].
Oh, when it comes to the Ethiopian Feudal Aristocracy, I went to a school with their children without any clue about them [since I ended up underage for my grade school due to double promotions & initial under age enrollment]. So, I know a bit about the feudal aristocracy, too!
Look, even my health insurance was at Zewditu Hospital without knowing that it was a privilege back then since it was run by Americans [White doctors & White Nurses]. So, to recap: I am only here to keep the posters honest! I have nothing to gain or lose if Ethiopia sublimes this very minute!
This comes after our dear sister H.E. Melatwork bint Hailu announced that except for very few locations the rest of the polling stations in Amhara region are ready and will be open for voters to cast their ballots on the Election Day. This is another type of beauty contest and is very sad. Those upright and noble people in Amhara region do not deserve this.
On the other side the Rastaman wannabe in his joint has been ordering the killings of any Oromo who is a candidate or willing to vote. He has Oromo, Amhara, Sidama and Gumuz blood in his hands. That is his way of ‘liberating’ us Oromos.
All this goes back to what I have been saying for decades now. There has not been a single armed group since the American War of Independence that brought democratic governance after unseating the reigning regime. None! What all of them did was just become another despot or worse. Just look around in the very region.
The regional power Tigray will be forced to use its mighty military force to oust the corrupt and incompetent Abiy Ahmed. The majority of Ethiopians will welcome Tigray forces to do the jobb. Tigray military intervention in Ethiopia will also secure Oromia which is the gift of Tigray to the Oromos.
