The Outcome of the election is more or less known, says Ethiopian opposition coalition

Toronto – Coalition for Ethiopian Unity (CEU) held its press conference on Tuesday from its coordination office in the Churchill area of Addis Ababa.
It is a coalition of four major opposition parties. It warned that it may reconsider its participation in the 7th general election if the government is not addressing irregularities in the process.
CEU highlighted a range of issues including harassment and systemic exclusion of opposition Candidates not to take part in the election.
In a statement it released , it raised 11 points evaluating the government in connection with the election. Getnet Worku, Public relation head of the coalition, read it out.
In Hosaena, South Ethiopia, 15 candidates of the coalition were not able to register due to alleged “systemic problems.” It appears the coalition is not running in those electoral districts. It also said that candidates are facing intimidation and harassment in other areas.
Voters in rural communities who did not take election cards faced intimidation as the government weaponized fertilizer and safety net programs.
Another critical point underscored in the statement is the report regarding “enabling conditions” for the elections in the regions. It was claimed that 97 percent of the situation in the Amhara and Oromia regions is “enabling.”
The coalition rejected the assessment. The coalition called for the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia and the people to reject it as well. The Amhara region of Ethiopia is still experiencing conflict as Fano forces continue to carry out armed struggle against Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s government. Likewise, most parts of the Oromia region is affected by conflict between Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) and the ruling party.
Another irregularity highlighted in the statement is that the electoral process in places like Warre Jarso in North Shoa defies standard practice and legitimate election process. According to the statement, more than 90 voting stations are managed from a single location.
In concluding its statement, CUE also called for an immediate end to the war in Ethiopia , for the election board to address irregularities and the release of political prisoners.

PLEASE QUIT NOW! You will be doing Ethiopia & the Universe a HUGE favor! Ethiopia does NOT need Good-for-Nothing Whiners/Parrots/Proxies like you. What Ethiopia needs is Intelligent, Visionary, and Hardworking Ethiopians!
Here is my reaction when your member [Yisak Wolday] quit yesterday:
” EPRP, Derg, Meison, TPLF, EPLF/ELF, etc. SHOULD BE BANNED from Ethiopian Soil! The Red Terror Memorial was erected to condemn those crooks for co-causing that horror!
I equally condemn Haile-Selassie’s Greedy Monarchy for failing to airdrop 100g [10¢] bread for the ≈200K drought-stricken famine victims and exposing Ethiopia to that Bunch of Barbarians! ”
PS: Quitting will also help you apply for Refugee Status in the Democratic & Black Human Rights Upholder Aryan West!
Good Luck! My Best Wishes! God Speed!
Intimidation and even assassination attempts occur in almost all multiparty system nations everywhere except in countries run by despots with uni-party systems like commies China, Russia, Vietnam and several countries in Africa. You must go out and elect the only candidate Putin or otherwise you will face the night of the long knives or deadly poison dart tagging your backs. You don’t even have to cast a ballot to elect Xi Jinping as your leader for the next umpteen years. All you have to do is stand up and clap your hands hard until it hurts. If you don’t clap, you will be calmly led out of the hall and will never be heard or seen again.
So my urging the opposition not to quit the coming election still stands. No, you are not quitting. For peace sake you should not reconsider participating in the election.
My beef starts with the very photo we see here. We all know the majority of the population of that country are women. But in this photo there are twice men as the one photo of a woman. It proves that those misogynist men are using our daughter as a front and doing all or most of the talking. If you ask those two men how and why, they will boldly tell you that our women are not ready for politics yet as if only men are the ones born with the skills.
What arrogance!!!
