Ethiopian Airlines has embarked on a mega airport project outside of the capital Addis Ababa

Toronto – The Ethiopian Airlines on Monday announced the addition of one more Boeing 737-800 to its fleet. It is dedicating it to VIP and Chartered flight services.
“This new offering reaffirms Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to serving Africa’s investors, business communities, and all travelers seeking a premium charter experience with world-class service,” it said.
The airlines has more than 160 planes including multiples of Airbus 350 planes.
It is currently flying to 142 international destinations including cargo ones and 70 of them are in the African continent (it flies more destinations than any other airlines in the continent), according to information from the airlines.
In the 2023/24 fiscal year, Ethiopian Airlines carried more than 17 million passengers across the word. Currently, it is working on a $7 billion mega airport.
