Toronto – The 90th anniversary of the Ethiopian Airforce is celebrated on Saturday.
The event was organized in Bishoftu, where the Ethiopian Airforce headquarter is located. The airshow and drone show was part of the event in Debre Zeit.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Defense Chief of Staff, Field Marshal Berhanu Jula and members of the diplomatic community attended it.
As well, representatives of the Air force from other African countries and beyond attended the “Tikur Anbessa” show.
“Our Air Force is a great institution that, throughout its long history and at many critical moments, has been a source of national pride and a shield for the country, and has been able to defeat the forces that attempted to attack Ethiopia!” PM Abiy Ahmed said.
He painted an image that the Ethiopian Airforce is modernized while conveying a political message saying that the air force is not a match to those who are still stuck in MIG 21. Activists and politicized Ethiopians on social media tend to interpret his speech as insinuating Eritrea with whom his administration is on the brink of a war.
The Eritrean President recently described Abiy Ahmed and his prosperity party as “lazy and beggar” during an interview with the state-owned television.

I hope the late Emperor was deservedly given the credit for creating the country’s 1st air force. He saw the critical role planes can play during wars and he was in the process of acquiring planes to create such a force when Mussolini sent his soldiers and invaded the old country using his trusted house nigger Ascaris and Dubats as terrain guides. One of the first projects the late Emperor took on after 1941 was creating a formidable air force. I hope he was given the well deserved credit.

Hey folks, Hell has just broken loose in Piccola Roma. My longtime homeboys Yemane and Al-Toweel just called me and they are livid. They are upset about Abiy making fun about their air force. They are also not happy with me because I did not tell Abiy and his people what I saw in Piccola Roma the last time I was there. I did not tell Abiy and Jula about the fastest fighter/bomber jet in the world, the SU-75, they have in their arsenal. That jet cuisses at Mach 9 with a range of 10,500 miles with a single full tank. That means it can hit targets in Addis/Finfine in less than 3 minutes. I forgot to tell Abiy and his entourage the laser gun Al-Toweel invented himself that can hit targets 10.500 miles away. How about the bullet/nuclear blast proof armored tank Al-Toweel designed himself that can cruise at 395 mph on all terrains? Ethiopia! You’re toast, gone and kaput forever!!! Ethiopia is a distorted country and its people are all distorted with IQ of 59 anyway where Isu and his people all have an IQ of 189.
