TORONTO, Canada — Bizamo division of Amhara Fano National Movement (AFNM) claimed it launched a devastating ambush attack of Ethiopian government forces in Wollega.
According to Fano forces, the Ethiopian Defense Force mobilized 28 truckloads of troops to rescue forces reportedly encircled in Gida Ayana district. It was a mission to facilitate escape to Anger Guten.
Abebe, a member of Ansha Seid Command of the Bizamo Division, told Anchor media that the ambush took place at Anbesa Terara locality. Furthermore, it claimed that it seized 75 AK 47, 24 trucks and two sacks of Ethiopian birr ( based on fano’s description, the sack is capable of holding 100 kilograms of grains).
The Ethiopian Defense Force has not remarked about it at the time of this writing. Fano forces claimed similar military victories in May and June this year.
