World Leaders, International Organizations, and Human Rights Bodies
Your Excellencies,
I write to you with deep urgency and sorrow regarding the ongoing atrocities committed against the Amhara people in Ethiopia under the leadership of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali. Despite being a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Abiy Ahmed has waged a devastating war on the Amhara population, marked by ethnic targeting, indiscriminate killings, mass arrests, and systematic destruction.
in march 31/2025, following armed conflict between the national army troops and regional government militia, the army massacred 46 (names are attached) Amhara civilians in Gojam. Among the dead are children, women and elderly.
The scale of violence surpasses even the previous conflict in Tigray, and yet, the international response remains inadequate.
Reports from human rights organizations and eyewitnesses confirm that Ethiopian government forces, backed by drone strikes and extrajudicial executions, have carried out mass atrocities against civilians. Entire communities are being erased, humanitarian aid is being blocked, and those who dare to speak out face imprisonment or worse. This amounts to nothing less than genocide.
The international community cannot remain silent while another mass atrocity unfolds. The principles of justice, human rights, and peace demand immediate and decisive action. We urge you to:
1- Publicly Condemn the Atrocities – Issue statements denouncing the ethnic violence against Amharas and call for an immediate cessation of hostilities.
2 – Investigate War Crimes and Genocide Claims – Support an independent investigation by the United Nations, the International Criminal Court (ICC), and human rights organizations to hold perpetrators accountable.
3 – Impose Sanctions on Abiy Ahmed’s Government – Restrict financial aid, freeze assets, and impose travel bans on officials responsible for war crimes.
4 – Push for Humanitarian Access – Demand that Ethiopia allow unrestricted access to aid organizations to assist displaced and starving civilians.
History will judge those who remained silent in the face of genocide. We implore you to take action now before more innocent lives are lost. The Amhara people deserve justice, protection, and the right to live in peace.
Makonnen G
Sweden.

Since Gojjam is almost entirely Amara [except the few Guragé shop owners (as all over Ethiopia), the foreigners attached to Gojjam women, etc.], I have two questions:
1). If Abiy’s regime has the intention to commit genocide against Gojjam Amaras, why did it specifically target those people at that specific location and that specific moment?
2). Why didn’t any ‘Amara Genocide Activist’ utter a word [let alone lodge a plea like this] when the TPLF’s TDF massacred over 600 Amaras at Maykadra in just a day?
NB: Armed insurrection against an elected government is Domestic Terrorism [anywhere in the world]. Aiding & abetting Domestic Terrorists is Terrorism as well! No safe haven for Domestic Terrorists and their Accomplices!
Your “elected” government is criminal and its empty fans like you are sick.
Abiy/Ethiopia/Democracy/Election: Ethiopia’s last election was held under on-site scrutiny of UN, EU, US, AU, NGOs, etc. Abiy’s Party won! The Party elected Abiy as the PM! The Ethiopian people have SPOKEN LOUD & CLEAR!
Abiy’s Ethiopia: Abiy took Ethiopia from “World’s Poster Child of Poverty & Famine” to “World’s Poster Child of Prosperity & Greenery.” Go & See! Seeing is Believing!
‘Amaras & Genocide’: Christian Tadelle told Simeneh [Walta TV 2019]→“Over 15 million Amaras live in Oromia.” Isn’t that almost twice the Amaras in Amara Zone? Are those the ‘Genocide-Proof’ Amaras? [Cf.: Never met any Oromo in Gojjam & Gonder].
The Amara Pied Pipers [APP]: The Pseudo Amara Fanno [PAF] that toils to gas-light Amaras to self-destruction reminds me of the Pied Piper and his revenge on the village. [NB: Ask Seyoum Teshome & Abebech Kahsay for Zèmènè Kassie’s Eritrean passport].
Amaras/War Crimes [WC]/Human Rights Violations [HRV]: Why accuse Abiy for all the WC & HRV enumerated below orchestrated/perpetrated/committed by the APP/PAF?
(1). Using Amara civilians as Human Shields;
(2). Using churches & monasteries as bases & battle fields;
(3). Desecrating mosques;
(4). Closing schools & denying Amara children the education they deserve;
(5). Burning harvest-ready crops & truck loads of export cereal;
(6). Carjacking ambulances & trucks loaded with fertilizer/medicine/fuel;
(7). Burning enterprises/farms;
(8). Killing Amara intellectuals/teachers/students;
(9). Shaming & executing Peace Envoy elders/priests/imams;
(10). Blocking roads/disrupting services;
(11). Kidnapping/Ransom/Murder;
(12). Unholy alliance with Egypt [TPLF-EPLF-OLF/IFLO*].
