Perhaps drawing from her skillful diplomatic background, Sahle Work Zewde made a very important speech on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of Adwa Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa. She did so without naming names.
While insinuating the importance of the new edifice as remarkable that should have been done a long time ago, she seems to see a void to celebrate it in a sense of euphoric – the conflict in the country! It is not something that fits and matches our history.
The solution to the problem is “obvious!”
“We all have to return to our heart [senses]” she concluded. Clearly, the message was to the government to which she is a part. Watch her speech from the following video.
