Toronto – The history of Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) is not stranger to controversies, untold histories, plots and mysteries.

In part two of his interview with NBC Ethiopia,  Let. General Yohannes Gebremeskel says about 30,000 TPLF fighters were made to fight for “Shabia” ( what used to be Eritrean People’s Liberation Front – EPLF) when the latter was facing military challenges.

Usually it is the EPLF that used to make claims of military support to the TPLF.  So far, no reaction to Gen. Yohannes’ claim.

Let. General Yohannes Gebremeskel appeared with NBC Ethiopia to discuss about his book. The context in which he revealed about TPLF fighters military mission to support EPLF is the story of Sebhat Nega whom he described as the person behind TPLF intrigues and secrecies.

Let . General Yohannes has served in the Ethiopian Defense Force when TPLF was in firm control of the Federal government. Among other roles, he has served as commander of peace keeping missions in Africa.
