President Sisi “We are Eritrea’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”

Toronto – Eritrean president Isaias Afeworki has arrived in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday for a five day working visit.
Eritrea’s Minister for Information, Yemane Gebremeskel, disclosed that it is the Egyptian President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi who initiated Isaias Afeworki’s five days of working visit.
What is officially announced is that the visit is aimed at “further enhancement of bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues of mutual importance.”
Eritrea’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Osman Saleh, is part of the delegation.
According to Eritrean government sources, the delegation will be attending the Inauguration of the New Egyptian Grand Museum which is scheduled for on November 1st.
Isaias Afeworki’s visit to Cairo came days after Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed made a new assertion about Assab Port, which used to be part of Ethiopia’s access to the Red Sea, in his latest appearance at the Ethiopian Parliament this week.
“We do not know who made the decision to give away Assab. No single page document from the cabinet or parliament available on the issue of Assab,” Abiy Ahmed told the parliament.
Furthermore, he also stated that he does not have the intention to start war as the issue will be pursued peacefully. “But if war starts, no one will stop us!”
Eritrea responded the next day. Abiy Ahmed’s statement is interpreted as a threat of war. There are also those analysts who tend to see Abiy Ahmed’s remark as another indication of the inevitability of war.
Days before Abiy Ahmed’s speech in the parliament, Defense Chief of Staff Berhanu Jula made a remark, on the occasion of the 118th anniversary of Ethiopian Defense Force Day, saying “Two million must not choke 200 million” insinuating that Ethiopia should get back access to the sea.
The remarks on the part of Eritrea, and Eritrean activists, is seen as saber-rattling and vowed that Eritrea will defend its sovereignty.
The Eritrean president and his delegation’s visit to Cairo is seen within the context of the latest developments.
Egyptian news sources on Thursday reported that Isaias and Sisi discussed ways of coordinating works on the security of the Red Sea.
Egypt reportedly expressed commitment to ” Eritrea’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

Isaias is a blind leader who led into fear, deprivation, and hopelessness. Remaining in power by war-making is the only thing that mattered to him. A sad life indeed. Future generations will remember him for that. But first they need to get their freedom.
That is my main man Al-Toweel Isu looking down and towering over the miniature Superpower wannabe Sisi in Al-Qahirah. I have told m=you a million times that my homeboy Isu and I go back, way back to the late 1960’s. I just got an urgent email from the capital Addis/Finfinne. I was told that both Abiy and Jula have fled the country right after seeing this photo also hearing devastating news that Sisi and Isu had launched a blitzkrieg. They have seized the GERD Dam and it is named now, with Sisi’s blessings, after Isu himself. It is now called The Al-Toweel Isu Dam.
Kibbles ’n Bits! Kibbles ’n Bits!! Kibbles ’n Bits!!! I’m just saying!!!!
Btw, there was another earthquake that rattled the same area today it hit very recently. It was 4.4 on the Richter Scale and was located about 22 miles from Mekele. Let’s hope it did not do serious damage to humans and properties.
