TORONTO, Canada – In Part II of his Interview with Dereje Haile, Abinet Gebremeskel, revealed the cause for disagreement with his former boss and business partner Al Amoudi which finally ended up in court.
According to his account, Al Amoudi instructed him to cancel a mining project inauguration event in which said he invited four government ministers. He said he declined to do so and went ahead with the event. In the ensuing days, he got a call from Al Amoudi but he declined to take it. He confessed that he was not sure if the conversation would not go bad as Al Amoudi was angry. Subsequently he received letters of termination as executive of MIDROC.
The Alamoudi side of the story is not yet revealed to the public.
Abinet also remarked on a range of allegations regarding St. George Foot Ball Club which he led as an executive for decades.
