Toronto – It is not even three weeks since Tadesse Worede was sworn in as president of Tigray Interim Regional Administration.
The hope that he would steer Tigray away from conflict seems to be already lost. The cabinet he announced this week has generated a rather powerful resistance. Three opposition parties operating in the region came together to condemn his cabinet as “exclusionary” that is in the service of the TPLF ( the Debretsion faction to be specific). Meanwhile, Getachew Reda, who is also opposing the Tadesse Worede Faction, is revealing as to who was behind the alleged assassination attempt – apparently shortly after he was removed as President of the Interim Administration in the region.
