The latest information from the Tigray region of Ethiopia seems to indicate that the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) continues to make preparations for war rather than for the Peace Talk.
A video message circulating on social media shows TPLF chairman Debretsion Gebremichael ranting and making mobilization speeches.
In a meeting with the residents of Mekelle, he warned that all able-bodied people should join the fighting or they will face consequences.
The speech he made in Tigrigna is translated as “..Tigray will only be for those who are armed and fighting. Those who are capable of fighting but do not want to fight will not have a place in Tigray. In the future, they will lack something. They will not have equal rights as those who joined the fighting [struggle]. We are working on regulation. Those who do not join the struggle will lack something forever.”
His speech started circulating on social media this week. It appears to be recent video footage as the TPLF chairman is seen Health and recovered.
He was among the leaders who were in hiding after Mekelle fell in the hands of Ethiopian government forces following a counteroffensive in January 2021. Some were killed during the military operation. Some were captured, arrested and later released.
The Ethiopian government and the TPLF are said to be in direct talks, according to the information from the Peace and Security Council of the African Union.
The TPLF has a precondition that what it calls Western Tigray (refers to the Wolkait area of Gondar) has to return to the status quo ante before the TPLF attacks the Northern Command of the Ethiopian Defense Force in November 2020.
The organization has been enjoying diplomatic and political support from western powers and multilateral institutions with the leadership of the United States.
The state department repeatedly issued statements pressuring the Ethiopian government to withdraw forces from “Western Tigray.”
There were also instances where high-nutrition food aid that was meant to be distributed to people in the Tigray region of Ethiopia was consumed by TPLF’s forces and World Food Programme trucks that delivered food aid to the Tigray region were diverted for transporting TPLF forces from place to place during the latter’s venture to march to Addis Ababa by occupying Afar and Amhara regions of Ethiopia.
TPLF’s chairman’s latest mobilization message came barely two weeks after a US special envoy to the Horn of Africa, a European Union envoy and several ambassadors from Western countries met with TPLF leaders in Mekelle – where they spent about five hours.

The government of Etthopia shouldn’t be blindsided or cowed by treacherous peace formula concocted by impartial western actors. Preparation for restricting movement of supplies to Tigrai region for TPLF clique should be firmly kept in place in case. The above quotation says it ALL. The clash among BLACK AFRICANS is encouraged and well supported by ‘colonial forces’ for time immemorial. Tigray, despite it’s well known wisdom, will learn something that can never be forgotten in the annal of human history. The entire Tigray State is being drugged into self destruction war, just because an individual didn’t have his way as a Prime Minister of Ethiopia!?!?!?!?! And so, the DEAR LIFE of countless simple human beings will be wasted to satisfy ambitious individuals!!!!!! This is one of the reasons I have had beef with all so-called ‘liberation front’ that have made violent form of struggle to attain their objectives. No matter how they diced and sugar coat it, their aspiration and grand plan is to yank away a territory to call it their own. They indoctrinate the gullible youth and desperate citizens with their poisonous ideology. They use violence to thrive and they use violence to maintain their iron first control on every aspect of governance. It is either you go with them or you go one way to hell. It does not matter which ethnic group they belong to and the liberation front they created for. They beat, jail and murder their way to the top. They don’t tolerate even the mildest dissent. Name any of such liberation fronts. They have all executed all those dissented. TPLF has done that. OLF had done that! WSLF had done that. You name it! All have shot those who disagreed by firing going back to their days in the bushes. They are and will remain this because they are incurably infected with that demonic philosophy of Marxism/Leninism/Maoism even though they all want us to believe that they have changed their ideology. Btw, how come BBC, AP, Reuters and other Western major media have ignored and did not report this latest directive by Debre and his group? They all have reported the latest comment by the top official of WHO Tedros where he pulled the race card. It shows their shameful and unethical one-sidedness. What a dereliction of duty!!! Such misguided and irresponsible policy by these media outlets will only embolden Debre and his cabals to harden their already stubborn stance making peaceful resolution of the conflict even harder to achieve. So what, right? Let them niggers butcher each other to the last man, right? To these biased outlets it is like who cares!!!
The citizens of Tigray are self confident and prepared for the final showdown with the Eritrean and Ethiopian governments. They are sure to win these wars and teach their enemies unforgettable lessons. The superiority of Tigray defense force will be established and the blockade of Tigray will be over soon. Then the Tigray forces will pursue their enemies to the capital of the Abiy government and bring all those who started the genocidal war to justice.
