(TORONTO, Canada) — Cross-border political groups coordinating support for Tsemdo (also written as Tsimdo/Ximdo ) had a second meeting last week in Nairobi. The first one was in Port Sudan in early June this year.
What was the meeting about? Andargachew Tsege, an opposition political group, attended both meetings and shared his views. He also remarked about the crisis the ruling party is in. For him, regime collapse is inevitable and soon.

Can someone put English subtitles so we all know what this person is talking about? The short description tells us the alleged group calling itself Tsimdo/Ximdo had met twice this year. The first one was in Port Sudan. In Port Sudan? How is that? Who were the participants? Who facilitated the travels of the participants and covered the costs associated with the gathering? The same goes for the 2nd meeting in Nairobi. If the current regime suddenly collapses and bursts into pieces just imagine the scope of the violent chaos that follows. That would render Addis/Finfinnee and other major cities/towns into Mogadishu 1991 with armed vagabonds marching there from all directions. Then the entire 135+ million people will be on the move in every direction just to survive and see another day. That will make the post WWII Europe just another walk in the park. It is true that the regime seems to lose control of some of its own security apparatus where members of the law enforcement carrying out extra judicial arrests and killings mostly in Amhara and Oromia regions. But that does not mean total collapse. Its military and the law enforcement are mostly in tact. I don’t see the coming of the DERG of May 1991. At least for now.
Btw, isn’t this person who gave the interview the same man who was kidnapped by the agents of the former EPRDF from the Sana’a airport in Yemen in 2014? From what I read then on some of these social media sites among the Diaspora was so revealing. It was said that he had a stopover in Dubai for a day on his way to Asmara. On that day he allegedly went to shops owned by Ethiopian to pick up personal stuff for his family and that was where he was spotted by the EPRDF security agents. They bought off members of the Yemen airport security and he was hauled off to Addis/Finfinnee. I was gobsmacked by that story. I am so happy that he had escaped the guillotine and was able to rejoin his adoring children and family.
