NAIROBI, Kenya — The Ethiopian Embassy in Riyadh has issued an urgent warning following reports that undocumented Ethiopian migrants hiding in remote rural and desert regions of Saudi Arabia have formed violent factional groups and launched attacks against one another.
In an official diplomatic statement issued on Thursday, the Embassy confirmed it is coordinating with Saudi law enforcement authorities to investigate viral social media videos depicting physical assaults and group violence among Ethiopian nationals.
Diplomatic representatives in Riyadh outlined key details regarding the ongoing investigations and community interventions. Official findings indicate that individuals implicated in the recorded beatings entered Saudi Arabia through irregular migration corridors, taking refuge in secluded desert terrain to evade immigration authorities.
Investigators noted that hiding migrants have organized into distinct regional or group factions, leading to violent clashes for reasons currently under legal review. Saudi security forces placed at least one primary suspect in police custody following initial cross-verification of video evidence conducted by embassy officials and local law enforcement.
Diplomatic staff have engaged Ethiopian community elders and diaspora leadership in Riyadh to identify suspects, suppress further violence, and facilitate the surrender of individuals involved in criminal acts.
The Ethiopian Embassy appealed to community members across Saudi Arabia to provide verified intelligence and tips to law enforcement to assist in apprehending all individuals involved in the attacks.

This is just astounding. They survived the most hazardous journey to enter Saudi Arabia, somehow found their ways into one of the forbidding areas on earth just to wage battles against each other, battles they did not finish or failed to win inside their country? This shows, after being poisoned by bigots and connivers for decades, how many among the young generation have been left with twisted mind. Monsters, just monsters!!!
