Three Ethiopian Businesses Attend Marrakesh Coffee , Tea Festival

Toronto – Three Ethiopian businesses in the coffee and tea sector have showcased products at the Marrakesh Coffee and Tea Festival, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed. 

The festival is described as the “the largest coffee and tea event in Africa.” 

It  attracts global brands in the sector, visitors and professionals in the coffee and tea industry. 

According to the source,  more than 400 companies from around the world participated in the event. Three of them were from Ethiopia ; namely Ethio Agri Investment Group, CEFT PLC, and Kefyalew Deressa Tulu.  The Ministry said the event was important to “promote Ethiopia’s coffee and tea products to a wider global audience.”

In addition to showcasing products, the event was said to be a networking opportunity for the Ethiopian companies. 

Nizar Baraka, Morocco’s Minister for Industry, has reportedly visited the Ethiopian pavilion.
