Toronto – Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Party (EPRP) is holding a public meeting in the Capital Addis Ababa. It is scheduled for December 6.
EPRP called on the public to attend it.
The meeting aims to discuss ways on how to end the massacre of innocent civilians, arbitrary arrest, hunger, internal displacement, and lack of peace, it said in a message it shared on social media.
“Ethiopia at this time is bleeding badly by forces that fed on her breast” it said urging the public to attend it and deliberate on issues that matter to Ethiopia.
“For the sake of rescuing Ethiopia and ending the yoke of misery EPRP will take oath to the people to utilize all peaceful options under the sun, and discuss it openly,” it said.
The party has not disclosed information as to whether the meeting venue is confirmed or not.
The ruling Prosperity party has been hassling opposition parties in the capital Addis Ababa when they attempt to organize a party congress.
The leaders of EPRP itself, like Professor Zinabu, were arbitrarily thrown to jail in 2023 for attempting to organize a peaceful protest to call for an end to war in the country.
