Toronto – Intense battles have been reported in the North Wollo area of the Amhara region of Ethiopia over the past few weeks.
The Fano forces have been making claims of significant military gains against the government forces in those areas.
In response to the military situation, the government has been intensifying drone strikes in the area. As well, the government is reportedly deploying massive forces to the area.
Warkam Mere Wodajo, Commander of the East Amhara Fano Forces under Amhara Fano National Force (AFNF), remarks on the latest development.
