Ethiopian PM Says “We Are Producing High Number Of Suicide Drones”

Ethiopia Drone Production

Toronto – Ethiopian Prime Minister on Friday said “we are producing high number of suicidal drones.”

The State media showed a video footage of PM Abiy Ahmed and his officials visiting AERO ABAY – a facility that is said to be focused on drone production

The drones are for combat and surveillance purposes, the Prime Minister told the state owned media outlet who were covering the visit to the facility.

“These drones could destroy the enemy crowd,” he said. He painted a picture that they have a capacity to be deployed for operation (military) and surveillance.

“They will be in use whenever a danger that challenges Ethiopia’s existence comes up,” he added.  Notably, his government has been widely criticized for hundreds of drone strikes against innocent civilians in the Amhara region of Ethiopia over the past two years.

Abiy made a reference to “banda” and “bada” saying “in a situation where there are many banda [ translates to collaborator] and Bada [alien] , capacity is decisive.”

He framed his remark about the drone production , which appears to be crafted in a way to mobilize support, within the context of “protecting Ethiopia’s Prosperity.”

He said “Ethiopia has a huge potential to prosper…. the growth needs to be fostered with a military capacity.”

Abiy Ahmed’s government has been facing armed resistance in different parts of the country.

In the Oromia region, what used to a military wing of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) morphed in Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) after the parent organization came under attack from Abiy Ahmed’s administration as the former attempted to assert government power counting on the support base it claims to have in the Oromia region. This entity, which is said to have clandestine support from within the government structure,  has been battling the federal and Oromia regional governments. No decisive military victory on both sides yet.

In the Amhara region of Ethiopia,  Abiy Ahmed’s government launched what it called a “military operation to disarm fano forces” in August 2023. Given the magnitude of the mechanized unit, infantry and excessive drone operation, the conflict in the region measures up to a full fledged war. Thousands of civilians are reportedly killed.

Apart from the domestic wars, the tense relation with Eritrea over the past two years is now heading to a conflict. The Eritrean government, through the Ministry of Information, has been  making a recurring accusation against the Ethiopian government. The latest one was this week. Yemane Gebremeskel, the Minister for information, accused Abiy Ahmed’s Prosperity Party officials of making military threats against Eritrea.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed himself made an implicit threat.  He remarked in a recent interview  that the next business after the inauguration of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) is “recovering lost sea access” which he described as much easier  compared to the effort exerted to complete the GERD Project.

  1. Happy GERD Day!

Bravo! Excellent Job! Bleeding Ethiopia is the Main Hobby of the Ethiopia-destabilizing Egypt’s Proxy Domestic Terrorists in Ethiopian Skin.

Ethiopia’s enemies are ruthless and even use children & clergy as human shields. So, kamikaze drones are ideal in minimizing Ethiopian casualties & collateral damage.

Ethiopia needs massive SELF-DESTRUCTING Kamikaze Drones. Ethiopia should also have corresponding ideally located & spaced Mobile Command-and-Control Centers.

An Over-ride Command-and-Control Center at the HQ may come handy as well. It is a monumental task, but worth the while! NOBODY should ever mess with Ethiopia!
