Toronto – Dereje Haile is one of the most competent and hardworking journalist. He turned 60 this past week and he got a big celebration in recognition of his contribution to the country.
In a ceremony organized at Grand Haile Hotel Addis Ababa, Dereje was surprised with a condo (ready to move in) from Jambo Real Estate.
He was also presented with a brand new BYD 2025 Vehicle. The event was so colorful. Behind it was his friend and colleague Azeb Worku. It is noticeable that she put a great deal of effort into putting it together. Arts TV CEO was also credited.
The present and recognition is seen not just as a way of saying Dereje “thank you,” but also as a message to young and aspiring journalists to work hard and strive for journalistic excellence in the service of Ethiopia.
