Toronto – Sankofa Video Books & Cafe has organized a book launch event and discussion with Professor Alemante Gebre-Selassie.
His memoir and views on Ethiopia’s land tenure, political affairs and National Affairs is scheduled to be launched on March 29
Professor Alemante has participated in Ethiopian politics since the 1974 Ethiopian Revolution. After the fall of Colonel Mengistu’s government he was involved in the opposition coalition, Coalition of Ethiopian Democratic Forces (COEDF) and was part of numerous initiatives.
