State Minister H.E. Ambassador Mesganu met with Norwegian State Secretary H.E. Bjørg Sandkjær.
The two officials discussed the strong partnership between Ethiopia and Norway, particularly in the areas of education, climate change, as well as peace and security.
Ambassador Mesganu emphasized the need to further expand this cooperation. Minister Sandkjær highlighted Norway’s longstanding relations with Ethiopia and appreciation for its role in regional stability.
The two sides also discussed collaboration on climate change mitigation, environmental protection, water resources, and health. Ambassador Mesganu invited Norwegian businesses to invest in Ethiopia.
They further discussed various bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest.
