Oh, the irony! The Ministry of Tourism – Ethiopia, the very entity that should be showcasing the country’s rich heritage and stunning landscapes, doesn’t even have a Twitter account. It’s like a library without books, isn’t it?
Now, wouldn’t it be something if the Ministry of Tourism was handled by @PMEthiopia, @AdanechAbiebie, @ShimelisAbdisa, @AregaKebde, or @Mustafe_M_Omer? Their social media accounts are brimming with content. It’s almost as if they’re unofficial tourism ambassadors already!
Imagine the potential! With their posts often in Amharic and/or English, they could reach a wide audience. But alas, we can only dream. For now, we’ll just have to make do with what we have.
