The action is a safety measure for the passengers and crew of Ethiopian Airlines.
“We continue to actively monitor developments and will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and convenience of our passengers and crew,” the Airlines said in a statement it shared on its social media pages.
Flights to Amman, Tel Aviv, Dammam and Beirut are cancelled so far, according to disclosure from Ethiopian Airlines.

Passengers traveling to and from the region are advised to check for flight status via Ethiopian Airlines digital channels or contact Ethiopian Airlines Global Customer “interaction center” before heading to airports.

I expected this move by the airline because I know and the whole world knows it is managed and run by geniuses from top to bottom. They never react but always in proactive mode. We all remember how they saved all their air crafts in May 1991 when demonic Mengistu cut and run and the vindictive thugs were bearing on the capital. It was later revealed that the thugs in leadership of the dreaded TPLF were planning to torch every Boeing and other civilian planes owned by this airline because they said it was transporting troops and weapons to the northern front during the war in Tigray and Eritrea. The quick thinking CEO at that time moved every plane and operation center to Nairobi just in time before the arsonists arrived. That is the work of geniuses with IQ in Mensa International group.
